Uttarkashi: Dharam Singh Chauhan aged 42 s/o Mukt Chauhan was in possession of illegal English liquor. While he was taking the English liquor near the location of the Gangori Forest Department, the Maneri police were conducting checking on the way. The Maneri Police while conducting the checking today on 05.11.2020 intercepted the vehicle of Dharam Singh Chauhan and on checking the vehicle found 96 Powell illegal English liquor (SOULMATE BLUE) in his possession. The checking was in the order of the campaign against drugs by Uttarkashi Police at Maneri, Uttarkashi.
Dharam Singh Chauhan was arrested by the police and they seized the 96 Powell illegal English liquor (SOULMATE BLUE) from his possession. On the basis of the seizures and arrests, the police registered an indictment against the said person under the Excise Act on Maneri Police Station.
