Dimapur: Raised on 12/11/1970 under the stewardship and Leadership of the former IGP Nagaland, Mr. R.D Pande IPS, the DGP Sports Team befittingly commemorated and celebrated the Golden Jubilee today, 12/11/2020 with the unveiling of the Golden Jubilee Monolith and the inauguration of the Golden Jubilee Morung by the DGP and the President Nagaland Police Sports Control Board (NPSCB), Mr. T.J Longkumer, IPS.
The formal program was chaired by Commandant NAPTC and Assistant Secretary – NPSCB, Ben Longkumer NPS. The welcome address was given by DIG (Training) & Honorary Secretary NPSCB, Mr. Aotemsu IPS. Highlights of the program included Jubilee remarks by the Sports Officer- Assistant Commandant Mr. Dibambo Zeliang, felicitation of former Sports Officers and others including the DGP Nagaland, the release of the Golden Jubilee Lapel Pin and souvenir by the DGP Nagaland, presentation of the Jubilee Song by the Jubilee Choir of the DGP Sports Team, and speeches by the IGP (Trg & Bdr) and Vice President NPSCB, Mr. Liremo Lotha IPS and the DGP and President NPSCB, Mr. T.J Longkumer IPS.
The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Mr. ABI Imliyanger and the closing prayer was pronounced by Rev Dr. Hukashe Zhimomi, Executive Secy NPBCA. All activities in the Jubilee program were carried out with strict compliance and in adherence to COVID SOPs and safety protocols and ended with a Jubilee feast.
