Rachakonda: Mr. Surender Kumar Police Constable Officer of Abdullapurmet Police Station was appreciated by Mr. Bandaru Dattatreya, Hon’ble Governor of Himachal Pradesh, for displaying poise and dedication in recovering a body in an extremely challenging situation during the heavy rains in Hyderabad. The Commissioner of Police Rachakonda Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat IPS. handed over the appreciation letter from the Hon’ble Governor to Mr. Surender Kumar.
The appreciation letter was given to appreciate and encourage Mr. Surender Kumar Police Constable Officer of Abdullapurmet Police Station for the work that he had done with dedication. Mr.Raman Kumar Meena IPS, in the appreciation letter, stated as follows:
I would like to bring to your notice that Hon’ble Governor of Himachal Pradesh Shri. Bandaru Dattatreya is pleased to know that you have displayed poise and dedication by recovering a body in an extremely challenging situation during the recent heavy rains in Telangana and have displayed courage in the face of an imminent threat to your own self. On behalf of the Hon’ble Governor, I would like to express my profound gratification and put the same on record for the professionalism and devotion you exhibited during this weather disaster. Neither did you execute your duty with all seriousness but you also ensured that the innocent lives of your fellow countrymen were saved which is appreciable beyond words.
It is indeed a matter of pride for the department to have professionals like you. Your positive approach and committed attitude towards duty are highly appreciable.
