Sepahijala: Sepahijala District is a district of Tripura. This district was created in January 2012 when four new districts were established in Tripura, taking the number of districts in the state from four to eight. Part of the district was formed from the former district of West Tripura.
In the recent past, the Sepahijala District Police received complaints regarding bike thefts and thereby the police have registered cases and have immediately started the investigation. This investigation that had been done by the Sepahijala Police had received co-ordination with West District Police and in last 4 days, Sepahijala District Police in co-ordination with West District Police arrested a gang of 4 bike lifters and have recovered 5 bikes. Further investigation is going on.
