Lucknow: On the orders issued by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mr. Yogi Adityanath to the DGP Mr. Hitesh Chandra Awasthi, IPS a relentless drive against Mafias and gangsters had been initiated by the Uttar Pradesh police department which was coupled with confiscation of their property which was acquired through crime. This action of the Uttar Pradesh Police Department has led to the decimation of organized crime in Uttar Pradesh.
