Meghalaya: The Meghalaya Police said, In the initial phase of COVID-19 Vaccination, people who are at a high risk of contracting the virus, such as the elderly, healthcare professionals, and other frontline workers will be inoculated. This is considering the limited availability of the vaccine initially, persons who are at maximum risk of getting infected with COVID-19, and the population having the risk of high mortality will be vaccinated first. Meanwhile, let’s continue following COVID-19 protocols. Together we shall overcome the pandemic.
