Bengaluru: A circular has been passed by the DG and IGP Mr. Praveen Sood IPS to make weekly off compulsory to the police. Previously also this circular was made compulsory but some police personal have written a letter to the officials stating that they were not provided weekly off. This backdrop has now been made mandatory weekly off to the police.
This mandatory weekly off is provided on all occasions except election duty and other emergency duties.
