Chennai: A rashly driven call taxi allegedly rammed a two-wheeler driven by Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Sundaramurthy who was severely injured on the busy Santhome High Road on 20 August. When the ACP Sundaramurthy (58), attached to the Home Guards, was returning home, the call taxi that was alleged being driven rashly rammed his bike. The police officer sustained injuries all over the body and his vehicle was also damaged. The officer was rushed to the Government General Hospital, Royapettah. Doctors said, he sustained fractures on right leg and fingers but is out of danger. Senthil the call taxi driver was arrested and a case registered, police said.]]>
