<![CDATA[NEW DELHI: Three youths in east Delhi’s Yamuna Khadar late on the night of 21 August allegedly abducted a seven-year-old girl and gang raped her, police said. The youths abducted the girls while she was sleeping with her parents outside their hut when the youths allegedly carried her away to a nearby forested area where they took turns to rape her, said the police. They also allegedly threatened to kill her if she shouted. However, when the girl fell unconscious and started bleeding incessantly, they abandoned her some distance from her home. The girl after regaining consciousness a few minutes later had returned home and narrated the incident to her parents, police said. In the meantime the commotion had woken up the neighbours one of whom alerted the police. The victim was rushed to a nearby government hospital, from where she was referred to AIIMS. Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Mr. Rishi Pal said all three accused are aged between 19 and 21 and they have been arrested. Police identified them as Bhure, Amir and Bhim Sen. The DCP added, “Two of the accused are neighbours of the victim, while the third is their friend”.]]>
