Rachakonda: In an effort to root out organized Human trafficking network within the limits of Commissionerate and to create a sense of safety and security among the family system, College going students, and youth not to fall into trafficking network, C.P. Rachakonda invoked the PD Act against one of the human trafficking offender for organizing prostitution in the limits of LB Nagar Police Station of Rachakonda Commissionerate and detained him in Central Prison, Cherlapally on 04-06-2021.
The accused 1) Mandla Avinash along with his associates 2) Mandala Ravi alias Srinu 3) Desineni Venkateshwar Rao, 4) Mrs. Sakijan Khatun alias Deepika alias Reshma. and 5) Gugloth Sujatha formed a gang and has been indulging in immoral activities from “Sai Durga lodge at LB Nagar, which belongs to A-1 Venkateshwar Rao. The accused procure girls/women from West Bengal and other parts of Telangana and taking advantage of their poverty, inducing and thereby forcibly dragging them to having companionship with male persons on lower payments. Thus, the accused have been living on the earnings of the prostitution business and their activities are prejudicial to the maintenance of public order and public health at large.
The racket was busted in a joint operation headed by the AHTU team and LB Nagar Police and arrested the accused Mandla Avinash and his associates on 16-03-2021 at Sai Durga Lodge, LB Nagar along with 4 male customers and rescued 4 victim women hailed from West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, and the Telangana States from the lodge when they were in companionship with male persons. The arrested accused were remanded to judicial custody. Three Organizers namely 1) Mrs. Sakijan Khatun alias Deepika alias Reshma, 2) Desineni Venkateshwar Rao, 3) Mandala Ravi, out of Five were already detained under PD Act and lodged in the prisons.
Now, with a view to prevent them from indulging in human trafficking and to preserve public order, Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda invoked PD Act against one of them Viz… Mandla Avinash alias Nani and served an order of detention today after apprehending him and lodged in Central Prison, Cherlapally.

Mandla Avinash alias Nani S/o B.V. Ramulu, age 32 yrs, N/o H No. 7-1 89/D/1, Beside Railway Station, Prem Nagar colony, Mahaboob Nagar District.
