Rachakonda: On receipt of credible information that some persons are running Prostitution in Manohar Lodge, Opposite Vishnu Theatre, Vanasthalipuram with the help of victims. On that, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit Team and Vanasthalipuram Police jointly conducted the raid on the Manohar Lodge on 19.06.2021 at 12.30 hrs. The Police team found three persons in the reception of the Lodge, on inquiry they revealed their names as (A1): Jalasuprathu Naga Chandra Sekhar alias Bablu, (A2): Baluboyina Guraiah alias Guravaiah alias Ramu and (A4) Nampally Rameshwar alias Ramchander who is the owner of the Lodge, and then raided the Room No. 109 and found one male person( A5): Gattu Ram Mohan (Customer) and one female person in a room and they are in compromised stage. The police recorded the confessional statement of the accused persons, Jalasuprathu Naga Chandra Sekhar alias Bablu and Baluboyina Guraiah alias Guravaiah alias Ramu both are colluded and running the prostitution, they explained about their business to lodge owner Nampally Rameshwar alias Ramchander and took a Room no. 109 for rent per month of Rs.16,000/- and paid Rs.11,000/- to him as advance. On 18.06.2021 Shilpi Barman alias Mitha was sent to the above room for indulging in prostitution. The 3 organizers and 1 customer were taken into custody and the police also rescued a victim woman aged 26 years resident of Mumbai of Maharashtra state from their clutches and seized Net Cash Rs.5,500/-, Condoms -04 Nos. and Cell Phones -06 Nos. from the possession of accused persons. The deputed staff apprehended Shilpi Barman alias Mitha on 19.06.2021 at her residence of Madhapur. A case has been registered at Vanasthalipuram Police Station, Rachakonda.
The accused Jalasuprathu Naga Chandra Sekhar alias Bablu is native of Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh and was previously working at Thirumala Medical shop at Sathanapally, Guntur. From the past 3 years, he got acquainted with one Deepthi through Facebook and on 05.02.2020 got married, and then shifted to Hyderabad and did not do any work and hence was suffering from financial problems, so he hatched a plan to run the prostitution business thereby quickly earning huge money. He introduced victims and trafficked them, who were in financial trouble sent them to customers and collected money from the customer and give some amount to the victim and he took the rest of the money. The accused Guravaiah alias Guraiah alias Ramu hailed from Kadappa and was working in various lodges in Hyderabad for the past 5 years, but he did not have sufficient money, then he hatched a plan to earn easy money by doing prostitution business and got acquainted with those who came to the lodge, introduced victims who are in financial difficulties, send them to the needed customers and took the amount from the customers. Two months ago Guravaiah alias Guraiah alias Ramu was introduced with Jalasuprathu Naga Chandra Sekhar alias Bablu by some others. He was also in the prostitution business and they discussed their prostitution business on the phone. Both of them decided to take the room in a lodge to run prostitution thereby earn more money, on this matter on 18.06.2021 they were contacted with Rameshwar alias Ramchander, who is the owner of Manohar Lodge, and explained their business to him, as such Nampally Rameshwar alias Ramchander agreed and gave a room in the lodge which was Room No. 109 for rent to them per month of Rs. 16,000/-, for which both of them paid Rs. 11,000/ to the owner as advance. On the same day, he sent the victim to the above lodge for indulging in prostitution, as such the both of them are running the prostitution business with the help of the victim in the said lodge room. Jalasuprathu Naga Chandra Sekhar alias Bablu and Baluboyina Guraiah alias Guravaiah alias Ramu are sending the pictures of victims to needy customers through WhatsApp for prostitution and called them to Manohar Lodge, Vanasthalipuram then collecting the amount of Rs. 2000/- from each customer, of that Rs., 500/-has been given to the victim and the remaining amount is shared equally among the accused persons. Thereby, the accused persons are living on the earnings of prostitution. The organizers knowingly trafficking and running prostitution in the said lodge.
The above arrests were made under the supervision of Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat, IPS, CP, Rachakonda Commissionerate, Mr. G.Sudheer Babu, IPS, Addl.CP, Rachakonda, under the direct guidance of Mr. J.Surender Reddy, DCP, SOT, Rachakonda by Mr. K. Chandra Sekhar, Inspector of Police, AHTU Rachakonda & his team, Mr. K.Murali Mohan, Inspector of Police, Vanasthalipuram Police Station and his team.
