Siliguri: A resident of Jaigaon in Alipurduar District, in the afternoon, approached policemen on duty at the Panitanki Traffic Guard, Siliguri, stating he had inadvertently left behind his belongings in a Toto e-rickshaw.
Jaigaon resident Basant Dorjee told the police he had forgotten to pick up his bag from the Toto he had hired. He said the bag contained his laptop, wallet, and some valuable documents. The Panitanki Traffic Guard personnel went into swift action and traced out the Toto immediately.
They found the bag that Dorjee was claiming to have lost, and after verifying his identity, handed him the bag along with the items.
