Mannar: The Mannar police overcame COVID fear and guarded Kurunnu’s life. SI Mr. John Thomas of Mannar police station and civil police officers Mr. Siddiqui ul Akbar and Mr. Jagdish took the couple’s baby to the hospital at night.
The baby and the COVID-positive parents were taken to the hospital in a police jeep. The incident took place around 8 pm on Monday. On their way back from Budhanoor, the police team spotted a couple waiting with their baby on the road. Kayamkulam – Thiruvalla State. They were standing on the roadside at the corner of the store on the road, waving to all the vehicles. However, no one stopped their vehicle. When the police team inquired, they came to know that the couple was COVID positive. The baby, on the other hand, was experiencing shortness of breath. The three were immediately taken in a police jeep to nearby Parumala St. Gregorios Hospital and they have now entered the quarantine.
