Siliguri: On 16/07/21, evening acting on specific intelligence, a team of officers and men from Pradhan Nagar Police Station apprehended a drug peddler Shankar Sarkar (40) s/o Lt. Tulshi Sarkar of Mallaguri, near Primary School, Pradhannagar Police Station.
On search of his person, observing proper formalities, the police recovered and seized 60 grams of Brown Sugar from his conscious possession.
The arrested person will be presented before the Ld Court today, and necessary follow-up actions are being taken.
