Chennai: The P3 Vyasarpadi Police team comprising of Head Constable Mr. M.D.K. Suresh Kumar, Gr-I PC Mr. M. Senthilkumar, AR Police Mr. V. Satish Kumar on 15.07.2021, while conducting vehicle check near the Kallukadai junction in Vyasarpadi saw a man while driving a two-wheeler and the same pushing another one two-wheeler with his leg, when they saw the police, the two tried to turn the two-wheeler around and tried to escape. The Police team chased them and arrested one person and handed him over with the two-wheeler at P3 Vyasarpadi Police station.
In this regard a police team led by the Inspector of Police investigated the case, investigation reveals that the arrested person was Devaraj (M/21), Vyasarpadi and the accused Viswa alias Scale of Vyasarpadi, investigation reveals that the accused were indulged in series of bike theft offenders roaming at Vyasarpadi police station limits. 5 two-wheelers were recovered and legal action is being pursued against them.
Mr. Shankar Jaiswal IPS Commissioner of Police personally invited the police team and commended their work by presenting them with certificates of appreciation and reward.
