Siliguri: Mr. Himanshu Purshottam Singh, residing at Prakash Nagar, Siliguri on 21.7.2021 at around 8 PM in the evening was coming from Darjeeling more side. He stopped at the red signal in Champasari more. As he was crossing Champasari more the front tyre of his bike got inside a pothole right in the center of Champasari more. Due to this, he got misbalanced but somehow managed to take control of his bike. Mr. Himanshu Singh stopped his bike and called IC Junction Traffic Guard Mr. Subir Kumar Dutta and complained about the pothole and how it could have been life-threatening to him.
He assured Mr. Himanshu Singh that the pothole will be filled tonight. The next morning Mr. Himanshu Singh went to check the pothole and to his surprise found it repaired. Mr. Himanshu Singh is admiring the sincerity of Mr. Subir Kumar Dutta as it was already 8 PM in the evening. Mr. Himanshu Singh would also like to thank the Siliguri Police Commissioner for improving the traffic situation of Siliguri.
