Coimbatore: Madukkarai Police Assistant Inspector Mr. Mathivanan arrested Udayakumar for illegally smuggling sand while he was engaged in a vehicle search in the Nachipalayam area and 2 units belonging to him.
He confiscated the lorry with sand and handed it over to Madukkarai police station. Madukkarai Assistant Inspector of Police Mr. Prabhakaran filed a case against Udayakumar and remanded him in judicial custody.
