Rajgarh: Taking quick cognizance of crimes against women and girls in the state, under the campaign being run against criminals, Operation Muskaan is going on for the handiwork of missing and kidnapped girls/women. In the same vein, the police team of Sarangpur police station under the leadership of Mr. Pradeep Sharma IPS, Superintendent of Police, Rajgarh has achieved success in handing over the minor girl.
On January 5, 2019, in police station Sarangpur, complainant Mr. Mahesh Rao’s father Mr. Ramesh Rao resident Gulabta filed a report that his 15-year-old girl had gone away from home, expressing suspicion that some unknown person had taken his girl with him by luring her. On the report of the complainant, a crime was registered at Sarangpur police station and taken up for investigation.
Taking the matter of abduction of minor seriously, Superintendent of Police Rajgarh, as a result of special instructions, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Mankamana Prasad and SDOP Sarangpur Ms. Joyce Das, while trying for the handiwork of the girl child, finally success was achieved. During the handiwork of the minor, the photos of both were also put on his Facebook ID by the suspected accused Gyarsi Ram Bagri, on which his location was found on the Radish Gujarat side.
For the arrest of the accused, a reward of Rs 3,000 was announced by the Superintendent of Police, Rajgarh. The process of getting information related to the accused’s property and the arrest warrant of the accused was done by the police station Sarangpur, Sarangpur police station in charge Mr. Virendra Singh Dhakad constituted a police team and sent the police team to Gujarat.
When the police team reached Gujarat and traced the accused, both the kidnapped and the accused were found working in the Sone ceramic tiles factory and the kidnapped girl was handpicked from the possession of the accused. Based on the statements of the victim, the accused was arrested by increasing the POCSO Act in the case.
