Rachakonda: Facts of the case are that on 14.06.2015 at 3 PM Kandukur Police received a complaint from the complainant, aged 50 years, wherein he stated that, he shifted his family to Hyderabad for livelihood and residing at a Poultry farm at Bouramept Village. The accused G. Gangadhar, aged 20 years, hails from Thumbiganur village Kanekal Mandal, Ananthapuram district of Andhrapradesh R/o Bourampet village of Quthbullahpur who also works at the Poultry farm took advantage of the innocence of his daughter/victim aged 14 years, the accused developed evil desire towards the victim and hatched a plan to fulfill his evil desire and started to induce her with deceitful words compelled her and eloped her for performing the marriage. Accordingly, he took her to his native place at Ananthapuram District, where he told her fraudulent words and tied a yellow thread to her neck and made her believe that he is her husband, and made a sexual assault on her several times. Soon after knowing a case was registered at Kandukur Police Station the accused left the victim girl at Kandukur and fled away.
Basing on the complaint registered a case, during the course of the investigation, 10 Mr. M. Mallikarjun, SIP Kandukur Police Station collected evidence, arrested the accused, and remanded him to judicial custody. On completion of the investigation the 2nd 10 Mr. T. Anand Reddy, Inspector of Police Kandukur Police Station filed the charge sheet in the court. During the trial on 10.08.2021 the Hon’ble MSJ Mr. B. Suresh convicted the accused G. Gangadhar, aged 20 years to undergo 20 years rigorous imprisonment conviction and imposed a fine of Rs.20,000/-.
In this case the IO. Mr. M. Mallikarjun, SIP Kandukur Police Station, 2nd 10 Mr. T. Anand Reddy, Inspector of Police Kandukur Police Station Now DSP Devaragonda, CDO Mr. A. Anil Kumar and Addl.PP Mr. K. Raji Reddy has attended on behalf of the prosecution.
