Coimbatore: On the orders of Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police Mr. Selvanagaratnam IPS a raid was conducted throughout the district.
During the raid that was conducted the Coimbatore District Prohibition Enforcement and Sub-Divisional Police arrested 11 persons who were selling liquor illegally and confiscated 120 bottles and 35 liters from them.
As the Coimbatore District Police conducted the patrolling they arrested 4 persons who were selling tobacco products illegally and confiscated 440 grams of tobacco items from them.
