Rachakonda: A felicitation program for the Police Officers, who received Police medals on the Eve of Telangana State Formation Day, has been held at Rachakonda Police Commissionerate here on Friday. CP Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS has congratulated and commended all the awardees.
In the felicitation ceremony, 33 Police personnel were felicitated with Seva pathakam, 2 with Uttam Seva pathakam for the Telangana formation Day 2021. 5 with Athi Utkrisht Seva pathakam and 10 with Utkrisht Seva pathakam awardees for the year 2019 were also felicitated during the ceremony. CP commended all the awardees.
Speaking on the occasion CP stated that “satisfaction is the end of progress and commended all the awardees and specially mentioned that awards are a bigger achievement in the service of every police. CP stated that medals make police proud and motivate them to perform better while performing responsibilities. CP specially mentioned with pride that 2 Police officers, Mr. Bhujanga Rao. Additional DCP Bhongir and Mr. Shyam Prasad, ACP Malkajgiri from Rachakonda Commissionerate received prestigious Union Home minister’s Awards for Excellence in Police investigation. CP advised medal winners to aim at better medals in the future and keep committed towards the responsibilities.
Speaking to the awardees Addl. CP Mr. G. Sudheer Babu IPS stated that the uniform itself is an award for the Police and advised all the medal winners to be more humble and serve people better. Additional CP said that awards are intended to motivate to work better. He stated that only the Police department receives service medals since we deliver immediate justice to the needy risking our lives. He commended all the awardees for keeping the Rachakonda Commissionerate in the front line in receiving police medals and instructed them to serve citizens with more sincerity.
