Hyderabad: The surroundings of the lake became a favorite tourism place for the people to come and have relaxed to re-freshens their minds and healing their souls by the serene environment of the place. Because of the mass gathering around Hussain Sagar Lake, the question of security and Suicidal deaths, crime control has come into a major image of the Hyderabad City Police. Lake Police staff have put in their earnest endeavor to keep on modifying the police surveillance on the public who come for attempting suicide in Hussain Sagar Water. The Lake Police has started with the view to make the lake area tourist-friendly, vices free and crime-free area.
In the month of August 2021, Lake Police saved 23 human lives, and in this present week total of 15 lives have been saved by Lake Police.
Hence on 14th August 2021 Mr. Anjani Kumar IPS CP Hyderabad appreciated and felicitated by giving mementos to Mrs. B. Dhana Laxmi, Inspector Lake Police Station, Police Constables Mr. Abhilash Yadav, Mr. L. Raju, Mr. N.Naveen Kumar and Home Guards Mr. Krishna Yadav, Mr. B.Yadagiri, Mr. Syed Dawood, Mr. Imam Basha, Mr. K. Ashok Goud for their good work done by rescuing the persons from committing suicide in Hussain Sagar Lake.
