Rachakonda: On 16-08-2021 Abdullapurmet Police arrested two accused persons including one Cameroon national accused, who are having illegal possession of counterfeit currency notes in order to use them as genuine.
The accused Yambou Wako Mathurin (54 years ) is a native of Cameroon country and staying in Kenya country since 30 years, where he is doing Gold business. In the month of February-2020, Yambou Wako Mathurin came to Bangalore for his dental treatment purpose, where he is staying in a rented house. Shaik Rehamath (34 years) is native of Suryapet District, who went to Kenya country in the month of October-2020 for Gold business purpose, where the relative of Yambou Wako Mathurin met him and informed that Yambou Wako Mathurin is staying in India and he will help him in Gold business in future. After four months the Shaik Rehamath returned to India and three days back the Shaik Rehamath met Yambou Wako Mathurin Bangalore, where Shaik Rehamath found Yambou Wako Mathurin preparing fake Rs.2000/- notes with original Rs.2000/- note by using a photocopier. In fact, both are facing financial problems; they both hatched a plan to use the Xerox copy notes as genuine at Hyderabad. As per their plan, on 15-08-2021 Yambou Wako Mathurin and Shaik Rehamath came to Khammam where they tried to use the fake notes as genuine, but not possible, as such they boarded a bus to go Hyderabad, on the way in front of Ramoji film city main gate, Abdullapurmet they are apprehended and being produced before the Hon’ble Court for judicial remand. The accused Yambou Wako Mathurin Visa also expired on 12-02-2021.
The Police seized Fake currency notes of Rs.2000/–920 (1. Serial No. 8AP471184-230 notes, Serial No. 9GR514438-230 notes, Serial No. 3DE799987-229 notes, Serial No. 7BC492104-231 notes).2. Cell phones-3, Passport – 1. A case was registered at Abdullapurmet Police Station, Rachakonda.
