Siliguri: A case on an attempt to commit dacoity was registered at Nayabazar Police station on 28/08/21. Based on the case an investigation was conducted and five accused were arrested on 29/08/21 and the case was successfully detected.
The arrested persons are Bhabotosh Kr. Roy of Maharaj Colony, Darjeeling District; Amit Kr. Keshari of Ganga Nagar, Darjeeling District; Bibek Kr. Sha of Natunpara, Darjeeling District; Prakhar Kumar of Debidanga, Darjeeling District; Suraj Sahani of Ranabusty, Darjeeling District.
All the criminals were involved in Drugs. They are being presented before the LD Court today, and necessary follow-up actions are being taken.
