Rachakonda: Aiming to support Telangana State Government’s prestigious Haritha Haram program, 2000 saplings were planted in the premises of Pahadishareef Police Station by CP Rachakonda Mr.Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS on Wednesday. Speaking to the media CP stated that plantation programs help the environment to decrease pollution. He told that global warming is a major problem the world is facing today. CP commended the noble gesture of MNC for providing the saplings. CP along with GHMC zonal commissioner Mr. Upender Reddy, DCP LB Nagar Mr. Sunpreet Singh IPS, and others visited Saroornagar Lake on the forthcoming eve of the Ganesh festival and reviewed arrangements for immersion. In the coordination meeting, several issues were discussed including Cranes installation, cleaning of the lake, CCTV cameras fixing, and repair of approach roads.
