Greater Chennai: A 22-years-old woman of Nanganallur was learning yoga with Yogaraj alias Poovendran of Kodambakkam. On 28.04.2021, Yoga master, Yogaraj alias Poovendran had sexually harassed her by offering sedative drugs in fruit juice. Yogaraj recorded the video on his cell phone and by threatening that he would post them on social networking sites, sexually harassed her several times. In this regard, the victim lodged a complaint at W-25 T.Nagar All Women Police Station.
A team led by the Inspector of Police, W-25 T.Nagar All Women Police Station investigated the case and arrested the accused Yogaraj alias Poovendran (M/45) of Kodambakkam. One cell phone and one laptop were recovered from him. Legal action was pursued against him.
