Rachakonda: On 06.10.2021 at 0930 AM the complaint from Mr. Samudrala Suprabhat, s/o: Srinivas, Age: 23 years, Dr. AS Rao Nagar, lodged a petition stating that the complainant is having Jio Mart business and he is having Godown on the ground floor of his residence. He used to supply the grocery items. On 06.10.2021 at around 0150 AM the complainant has locked the godown and went to the residence, the 1st floor of the same building. On the same day at around 0520 AM, he found the Jio Mart godown’s east side door sheet was in cut position. The complainant entered the godown and found the cash counter lock was also broken. In between, 0150 AM to 0520 AM on 06.10.2021 some unknown offenders gained entry into the complainant’s godown by removing the east side sheet, broken the cash counter lock, and committed theft of net cash around 4.30.290/- on which a case was registered at Kushaiguda Police Station.
The police collected the CCTV footage at Godown and surrounding areas and identified the accused persons who worked earlier in the godown of the complainant. On 07.10.2021 at around 0600 AM the following offenders were apprehended at the house of Dandla Naveen at Saipuri colony, Prashanth Nagar, Malkajgiri.
During the interrogation done by the police, they disclosed that the accused persons Dandla Naveen, Konipaka Prashanth, and Kalabandi Ramesh are close associates and earlier worked at Lw-1 godown. Dandla Naveen worked as Cashier and he knows the cash availability in the godown. Recently Dandla Naveen, Konipaka Prashanth, and Kalabandi Ramesh left their jobs for personnel reasons. Konopka Prashanth expressed his requirement of Rs.55,000/- cash to pay to the school to collect the certificate. Kalahandi Ramesh also requested Dandla Naveen and Konipaka Prashanth for an amount of Rs. 20,000/- to pay the college fees. Then Dandla Naveen, Konipaka Prashanth, and Kalabandi Ramesh hatched a plan to commit theft of cash from Jio Mart godown where they worked earlier. According to their plan on 06.10.2021 at around 0100 AM all they met at Moulali Kaman and proceeded to Jio Mart godown at LIG B 517, Dr.A.S.Rao Nagar. They removed the screws of the godown’s east side iron sheets and gained entry into the godown and bolted the Bharat’s from outside. Later they broke the cash counter and committed theft of net cash from the counter and fled away to Al’s residence. Later they counted the cash and the total cash was 4,30,290/- Among the cash Dandla Naveen took 1,50,000/-, Dandla Naveen took 1,50,000/- and the remaining cash of Rs. 1,30,290/- was taken by Kalabandi Ramesh as their shares.
On the instructions of the superior officers, the SHO and DI of Kushaiguda Police Station formed special teams and nabbed the offenders within 24 hours, and detected the case. The arrested offenders are being produced before the Hon’ble court.
