Shahdol: On 14.10.21, the complainant appeared at the police station and told that at around 8 am, when my husband had gone to work, the village boy, Lala Baiga resident of Bikrampur, came with a sickle in his hand and threatened to intimidate me and kill me. He did wrong with me and told me while leaving that if I told anyone about it or reported it to the police, I would kill you. Madhya Pradesh Police has always been determined to prevent and redress atrocities on women and girls.
Taking quick cognizance of the information received by the Superintendent of Police, a police team was constituted to search for the accused. After registering the crime of rape against the accused by the police team, the accused Lala Baiga was arrested and presented before the Hon’ble Court from where the accused has been sent behind the bars.
Mr. Uni Dilip Singh played an important role in the prompt action taken on the report under the leadership of Inspector Mr. Rajeshchandra Mishra, station in charge, Mr. Budhar. This action of the police instilled confidence in the aggrieved party and they thanked the police.
