Jammu and Kashmir: On 22-10-2021 Friday, there shall be no traffic movement on Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri road from either side in view of maintenance/repairing on Zoji la axis. Restriction on Dhar Road for HMVs with more than 10 tires. HMVs with only 06 and 10 tires shall be allowed to ply through Dhar road. The Cut off Timings are for LMVs from Nagrota (Jammu) from 7 am to 12 pm, from Jakheni (Udhampur) from 8 am to 1 pm, and from Zig (Qazigund) from 8 am to 1 pm. No Vehicle shall be allowed before and after cut-off timing.
Subject to fair weather and better road condition *, HMVs/Load Carriers shall be allowed from Jakheni (Udhampur) towards Srinagar* after the tail of down HMVs crosses Jakheni. TCU Udhampur shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the HMVs.
Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. *They may ply from Jammu towards Srinagar* after confirming the status of NHW.
Subject to fair weather and good road condition, *LMVs from both sides and HMVs up to twelve tires from Srinagar towards Poonch shall be allowed on Mughal road. LMVs from Behramgalla 8 am up to 3 pm, from Herpora 8 am up to 4 pm, and HMVs from Herpora 9 am up to 3 pm.
Subject to fair weather and good road condition, both-way traffic shall be allowed *from Kargil towards Srinagar and vice-versa on Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri road. LMVs from Minamarg will be released followed by HMVs (down traffic) at 06 am up to 11 am, LMVs from Sonamarg will be released at 6 am up to 11 am, and HMVs from Sonamarg (up traffic) will be released after the tail of down traffic crosses Sonamarg. No Vehicle shall be allowed after cut-off timing.
Kishtwar- Sinthan road is through for both ways traffic of LMVs only, subject to fair weather and road condition.
People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming the status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
