Jalandhar: Illegal gambling was taking place and a number of persons were involved in the gambling. This had come to the notice of the Jalandhar Commissionerate of Police and immediately took action against the culprits and arrested 11 accused of gambling. A case was registered under Gambling Act after recovering Rs.1 lakh 70 thousand and three cards from the possession of the accused.
