Vishwa Prasad IPS Jt. CP. Central Zone and the SHO Abids and his staff for their quick response.
On 24.11.2021 at 02.30 am received a complaint from Mrs. Mohd Rizwana Begum wife of Mohd Nawaz, Age: 30 years, Occ: Beggar at Nampally Yousufain Dargha resident of new Hafeezpet, Miyapur, Hyderabad in which she stated that as usual on 23.11.2021 at about 06.00 AM she went to Nampally Yousufain Dargha from her residence along with her 2 daughters aged about 6 years & 2 years for begging. After taking alms, she and her children came to meet her brother Mohd bin Yamani near GPO, Abids. As she got late and missed her train to return back home, she decided to stay along with her brother for the night. At about 12.00 AM she along with her daughters and her brother slept on the footpath near Bata Showroom, opposite GPO, Abids. At about 02:00 am, an auto driver Syed Zahed who parked his auto opposite to GPO noticed that a person by the name of Mohd Chotu, aged about 52 years, resident of Afzalgunj, Hyderabad was misbehaving with a 6-year-old girl. Immediately he woke up the complainant and her brother Mohd Bin Yamani and informed them. On that, she along with her brother Yamani started quarreling with Chotu.
Meantime the night duty patrolling staff of Abids Police Station observed them, caused inquiries, apprehended and brought the accused Mohd Chotu to Police Station, Abids, and registered a case under POCSO ACT.
During the interrogation, it is revealed that the accused Mohammed Chotu son of Late Mohd Moinuddin, age: 41 years, Occ: labor, C/o Foot Path, opposite to Goshala, Near Bhagath Singh Statue, MJ Bridge, Shahinayathgunj, Hyderabad was earlier involved in an around of 16 cases and a suspect sheet is maintaining against him at Afzalgunj Police Station, Hyderabad. The accused Mohd Chotu was lastly arrested by Afzalgunj Police on 08-07-2021.
