Kohima: The Call Your Cop – Closed User Group (CUG) App of Nagaland Police was launched today by Mr. T. John Longkumer, IPS, Director General of Police, Nagaland, at Conference Hall, Police Headquarters. In consonance with its Citizen-Centric Policing, the CUG App is envisaged to make it convenient for the public to communicate with Police Officers through the application itself by phone call or email. The App is a single repository, storing contact information of all police officers in the Headquarters, Int. Establishment, District Executive Forces, Armed Battalions, Other Units, and all Police Stations in Nagaland.
Further, the provision of dynamic notification for news updates, alerts, tourist tips, finding the nearest police station, emergency calls, etc. has been incorporated in the app. The App is available at Google Play Store and the Public, as well as Tourists, can download and make use of this facility.
