Siliguri: On 02.12.21, during evening hours acting on reliable intelligence officers and men of DD SPC apprehended three persons namely Rakesh Chawla (44), Amit Sharma (29), and Mithun Barman (23) in one Maruti Alto Car near Hotel Heritage, Pradhanagar and recovered one 7.62mm automatic pistol loaded with 09 rounds of live bullets in a magazine, in proper working condition, Bank currency note amounting to Rs.3 Lakhs and 4 mobile phones from their joint possession, and seized under proper seizure memo.
All the three accused persons have been arrested and taken into custody, and a specific case is being initiated at Pradhannagar Police Station under the relevant sections of the ARMS ACT.
