Jammu and Kashmir: On 19.12.2021 subject to fair weather and better road conditions LMVs (Passenger) shall be allowed from both sides on Jammu Srinagar NHW via Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa. TCU Jammu/Srinagar shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the traffic.
The Cut of Time for LMVs from Nagrota(Jammu) is 5 Hours to 12 Hours, from Jakheni(Udhampur) is 6 hours to 13 hours, and from Navyug Tunnel(Qazigund side) is 6 Hours to 13 Hours. No vehicle shall be allowed before and after cut-off timing.
Subject to fair weather and better road condition, HMVs shall be allowed from Navyug Tunnel(Qazigund side) towards Jammu after the tail of up HMVs crosses Navyug Tunnel. TCU Srinagar shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the HMVs.
Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/ traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu –Srinagar NHW. They may ply from Srinagar towards Jammu after confirming the status of NHW.
Subject to fair weather and good road condition LMVs from both sides and HMVs up to 12 tires from Srinagar towards Poonch shall be allowed on Mughal Road. LMVs from Behramgalla at 10 Hours up to 14 Hours and LMVs followed by HMVs from Herpora at 11 Hours up to 15 Hours.
Subject to fair weather and good road condition, only one-way traffic from Srinagar towards Kargil shall be allowed on Srinagar- Sonamarg-Gumri road. LMVs followed by HMVs will be released from Sonamarg at 9 Hours up to 14 Hours. No vehicle shall be allowed before and after cut-off timing. No vehicle shall be allowed after cut-off timing.
No traffic movement shall be allowed on Kishtwar- Sinthan road in view of snow accumulation. People are advised to undertake a journey on NHW-44 only after confirming the status of the road from traffic control units.
