Rachakonda: Margdarshak Refresher program for women safety conducted by Rachakonda police commissionerate and RKSC women’s forum on 18-Dec-2021.
Margdarshak refresher session for 3.5 hours was organized (both in-person and virtual) on 18th December 2021. The aim and objective of this program were to motivate all the Margadarshaks and adapt to the challenging and changing times. Commissioner of Police Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat, IPS has provided complete insight into laws, Support systems, and the critical role that Margadarshaks play in the ecosystem. The program started with an overview of RKSC Women’s forum journey so far, challenges, and way forward by Latha Ramasubramanyam – RKSC WF Joint Secretary.
Dr. Anita Ph.D. Clinical Psychologist Associate Professor, Bhaskar Medical College spoke about the importance of finding the purpose of life by giving back to society and urged the Margadarshaks to make a positive difference in society.
Mr. Nivas PCS, Principal L&D DC Manager Infosys Hyderabad spoke about networking, Branding and encouraged MDKs to be brand ambassador both formally and also in the social platform for a bigger positive impact.
Dr. Vijaya Bhavani a social development professional with Ph.D. in mental health focused on the importance of Participation and Continuous learning. A clear message to Margadarshaks was shared to be an active listener and proactive learner.
The refresher started a month back with a series of information on the legal frame we work, followed by an online test on case studies and crossword puzzles for all Margadarshaks. Winners were announced and will be rewarded with goodies. congratulate all winners, thank all volunteers – Dr. Deepa Nair, Mrs. Nikhath, Mrs. Kavitha Natrajan, Mr. Anil Rachamalla, Mrs. Archana Manne, Mr. Gaurav, Mr.Vijay Bhatra, Mr. Siva Karadi, Ms. Swarna, Ms. Deepa, Ms. Gouthami, Ms. Sandhya, Ms. Savithri Muthyalu who made this program successful.
After the power-packed sessions quiz was conducted. All the Margadarshaks participated actively in sessions and the quiz. The entire program was interactive and the session ended with a Vote of thanks and the National Anthem with a promise to bring such eventful programs in the near future.
