Karnataka : India Cyber Cop of the Year -2021 prestigious award, the recipient of the CID cyber crime division DySP Mr.KN Yeshwant Kumar
The Data Security Council of India performs an exceptional investigative duty at the national level, identifying the officers who have cracked the case. DYSP KN Yasavanthakumar has been awarded the Cyber Cop of the Year 2021 for penetrating scientific and technical investigations into the case of engaging in sexual activity and engaging in commercial activities through social networking sites.
Ajay Prakash Sahni, IAS officer, Secretary, Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, presented the award. Over 55 high-profile cases were contested in various states of the country. Among them were Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
