Rachakonda: The Rachakonda SHE-Team booked 37 cases; 37 FIR, 14 petty cases, and 16 counseling cases against eve-teasers in the last three weeks and apprehended 52 respondent eve-teasers out of 25 majors and 27 minors. The respondent eve-teasers have attended the counseling session conducted by Rachakonda SHE teams, at the Commissioner Camp office, Akapun Xoads L Nagar, along with the family members, and they are counseled by the professional counselors from the Bumi Women’s Collective (NGO), Children in conflict with law abo counseled by professional psychiatrist Dr. Vasavi to bring change in their behavior.
A few cases that have been dealt with by the SHE Teams are as follows:
This is a case of back touch and runs away by the accused persons. On 07.12.2021 at evening hour father and daughter went to ECIL from HB Colony on their Honda chine bike, on the way they reached Royal Function hall. HB colony road, meantime the accused persons Bandi Rakesh (26), Maredpally, and Changalpath Nikhil(18). Malkajgin while coming from the backside on their Activa bike Bearing registration No. TS1OET0812 and on seeing complainant and his daughter came to beside of their vehicle and loudly shouted, due to which the complainant and his daughter got afraid of an unexpected event and asked the same to accused persons, then the accused persons abusing filthy language threatened with dire consequences and pinched the complainant’s daughter from the back and fled away. On their complaint, a case was registered at Malkajgin Police Station and the accused were arrested and remanded.
DECOY Operations by SHE teams:
The Bhongir SHE Team on 07.12.2001 at Bus and have been conducted decay operation at Shorgie premise and caught the respondents Etikala Sardespodar Student Ro Cargaranically Redebonda and Swamy 20 Student resident of Gargasanically village Bhonge Mandal, Gangedev Ra see Satyanarayana (l9) Gangasally via Bog Mandal yadadebhongi and student were creating nuance while driving a motorcycle and eve teased girls in the college premises while making indecent sing. The Police booked a petty case U 290 IPC at Bhongir Town Police.
On 13-12-2021 SHE Team Bhongir have been conducted a decoy operation at Novabharath Degree college areas and caught the respondent Macha Rwa Sio M Malleh(22) R/o Baswapur village. Bhongir Mandal, yadadribhongir district was creating nuisance while driving motorcycle and eve teased girl in the college premises while making indecent sings. The Police booked a petty case U/S 290 IPC at Bhongir Town Police Station.
The SHE Team Choutuppal have been conducted five decoy operation in the Choutuppal area and apprehended seven minor boys/respondents who were creating a nuisance and eve-teasing girls by making indecent signs. All were conducted counseling at Choutuppal as the respondents are minors,
Ibrahimpatnam SHE Team on 09.12.2021 at Ibrahimpatnam Bus stand conducted decoy operation at apprehended two minor boys/respondents while they are sitting in the bus stand and making indecent sings and eve-teasing girls.
Kushaiguda SHE Team on 13-12-2021 conducted decoy operation at Keesa ragutta and caught minor while roaming unnecessarily and eve-teasing girls at Kessa ragutta Premises. Hence conducted Counselling at Kessara Police Station.
The LB Nagar SHE Team on 18-12-2021 have conducted decoy operation and observation at ZPHS, Nagole LB Nagar the school premises and apprehended the four minor boys/ respondents creating a nuisance and passing comments on girl students. Hence conducted counseling at LB Nagar Police Station as the respondent are minors.
The Malkajgiri SHE Team on 11-12-2021 has conducted decoy operation and observation Vignan Degree College at Boduppal and apprehended four minor boys/ respondents for roaming in the college premises and creating a nuisance and eve-teasing girl students. Hence conducted counseling at Malkajgiri Police Station as the respondent are minors.
The Vanasthalipuram SHE Team have conducted decoy operation at three Vanasthalipuram and Meerpet PS limits and apprehended six minor boys/respondents who created nuisance and eve-teasing girls by making indecent sings. All the boys have been conducted counseling at Vanasthalipuram and Meerpet Police Station as the respondents are minors.
The SHE Teams conducted Decoy operation and observation in Metro trains and caught 9 persons who intruded to ladies compartment and were fined by the metro station master.
Further 3 Child marriages have been prevented by SHE teams Rachakonda. The Rachakonda SHE teams under the Leadership of Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat. IPS. Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, and with the cooperation of the Self-help groups awareness programs were taken up by the SHE Teams Rachakonda to bring awareness among the common people in Prohibition of Child Marriages. In these awareness programs, the SHE Teams Rachakonda made the public understand the problems of child marriages and the child marriages alarming in rural areas.
As a success of the above awareness programs in the last one month, Rachakonda SHE Teams Stopped (03) child marriages by Choutuppal SHE Team 1 and B LB Nagar SHE Team 2. As of today total of 123, Child marriages are stopped by Rachakonda SHE Teams and rescued 123 minor girls from Social evil called child marriages which were planned to be performed at different places by their parents.
In addition to the above in the last eight weeks total of 52 Eve teasers were caught by Rachakonda SHE teams in decoy operations and through WhatsApp/SMUC complaints from different areas of Rachakonda while they are teasing girls at different Hotspots like Metro train/ junctions/ Bus stops/Working Places and colleges of the Rachakonda area. All are booked under petty cases/FIRs and counseled by professional counselors of BHUMIKA WOMEN’S COLLECTIVE in the presence of their family members. Minors will be counseled by Chief Consultant Psychologist.
