Rachakonda: The complainant in her compliant which she had registered at Cyber Crime Police Station, Rachakonda stated that some unknown person is posting her images and also sending abusive messages to her from some fake Instagram IDs and some other WhatsApp numbers. Based on her complaint, took up an investigation, during which it is revealed that the accused Kasa Praneeth Kumar(25) of Nirmal District met the victim on the Social Media Platform of Instagram, and later they became friends. After a while due to some misunderstandings, the victim stopped responding to the accused. Due to which the accused bore a grudge on the victim and created several fake Instagram IDs and sent derogatory and vulgar messages to the victim and him also through WhatsApp and he further threatened the victim that he will post her personal pictures on various social media platforms.
During the course of the Investigation the IO collected all the technical evidence and after analyzing the data, on credible information, arrested the accused on 10.1.2022, seized one mobile phone which is used for the commission of the offense, produced him before the Hon’ble Court, and sent to judicial custody.
Under the direct supervision and leadership of Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat.IPS., Commissioner of Police, and Mr. Sudheer Babu, IPS, Addl. Commissioner of Police with the guidance of Mr. P. Yadagiri. DCP Crimes and Mr. S. Harinath. Asst. Commissioner of Police the case was investigated by Inspector Mr. K V Vijay Kumar of Cyber Crimes and apprehended the accused.
