Kottayam: The Kottayam SP Ms. Shilpa. D IPS said cybercriminals have come up with a new type of scam in the name of COVID Booster Wax. The booster will make phone calls or send SMS as soon as the vaccine is available, log in to the link they provide, and then ask for OTP. They use this OTP to transfer money to their accounts. The Police said to be aware of the scam and not fall prey to it and lose your money to the fraudsters.
