Chandigarh: On 14.1.2022 Chandigarh Traffic Police conducted a COVID-19 and Traffic rules awareness drive at Market Area Sector-22, Chandigarh. Citizens were educated about safety precautions like social distancing, proper handwashing, the mandatory wearing of face masks, and using cycle track while cycling. Importance of zebra crossing, being a Good Samaritan, the impact of the use of mobile while driving, safety helmet, Wrong Park, use of seat belt, the importance of lane driving, no honk, rights of pedestrians and avoid drunken driving.
