Tirunelveli: A complete curfew has been declared by the Government of Tamil Nadu on Sunday 23.01.2022 to prevent the spread of Omicron and Corona epidemics in Tamil Nadu. On the orders of District Superintendent of Police, Mr. S.K. P. Saravanan IPS, the police are engaged in security work throughout the district.
In this situation, the Government of Tamil Nadu has ordered the public to travel to their residence by using auto, rental taxi, foot taxi, etc. According to the District Superintendent of Police, the autos have to come to the railway station to pick up the public coming to the railway stations. The SP has instructed the police to set up facilities. Accordingly, the district police have made arrangements for the arrival and departure of autos at the railway stations in the district.
The district superintendent of police has also asked the public not to come out unless there is a compelling need for the public due to the increasing corona/omicron infection and to ensure that the people and their families are safe.
