Delhi: The Delhi police on Saturday arrested three transgender people in a robbery case. A man named Manoj Kumar Singh had lodged a complaint at the Kishangarh police station that three transgender people had intercepted him on his way home and forcibly took him to a dark place and robbed him.
Manoj Kumar phoned the police after the robbery and the police immediately took action. Three transgender people were detained and were arrested with the identity of the complainant.
During the raids, cash and documents were seized. At trial, they were identified as Shreya, Kavina, and Chandani.
A case of robbery has been registered at the Kishangarh police station.
The investigation revealed that all the accused continued to be addicted to alcohol and drugs. Subsequent investigation revealed that they were convicted of robbery along with passers-by during the middle of the night to fulfill their quest for money and drugs.
