Siliguri: To address the growing challenges of traffic regulation and management at the Fulbari area, a dedicated Traffic Outpost was started today near Maharaja Agrasein Hospital.
The outpost shall be headed by a Sub-Inspector ranking officer and operate with a suitable strength of police personnel. It shall have jurisdiction from Uttarkanya More to Jalpaiguri and Bangladesh borders of Siliguri Police Commissionerate. The outpost shall play a pivotal role in handling traffic challenges associated with the movement of freight and non-freight vehicular traffic in the coming days.
The authorities of Maharaja Agrasein Hospital came forward to fulfill this objective in the service of the people and constructed this outpost in a very short time.
