Delhi: A passing out parade of 349 recruited constables, including 63 women constables of the SSF (Secretariat Security Force), was held at the Delhi Police Academy at the Wazirabad campus in New Delhi yesterday.
After the successful completion of their basic training, they were administered the oath of office in a colorful festive parade, receiving the parade salute in the presence of Chief Guest Dr. Rishi Paul IPS, Director DPA MHA, SSF, and senior officers of Delhi Police.
During their training they were completed trained on IPC, Cr. PC, Computers and cybercrime and knowledge of human behavior as well as SSF organization and administration, firefighting, first aid, gender sensitivity, lectures/demonstrations on yoga.
To develop their physical capabilities, they are trained in PT, parade, unarmed combat, crowd control, and firing through advanced weapons and counter-terrorism operations, and are completed trained for their basic functions such as searching and using metal detectors and luggage scanners.
Constable Mr. Pankaj received the ‘All Round Best’ trophy in the male constables’ category and Constable Ms. Pushpa received the ‘All Round Best’ trophy in the female constable category.
The Chief Guest congratulated the trainees and award recipients who passed. He called on the people to do their part to meet the challenges of the modern age in a service like SSF, which protects important central government buildings in New Delhi.
He stressed the need to be more vigilant about national security and terrorism and encouraged them to act in accordance with established laws.
He also called on them to be polite and firm in carrying out their duties. CDI / Inspector Mr. Brijveer Singh of DPA Wazirabad Campus also expressed his happiness over the DG NSG Certificate of Merit for outstanding and commendable performance.
