Delhi: A team of narcotics officers of the Delhi Police arrested two inter-state drug dealers and seized 31 kg of cannabis from them on Friday. The accused, mother and son were identified as Mohammad Shahid and Guddy.
The police team was informed that drug dealers were moving cannabis across Pusta Road in Gandhinagar.
Police intercepted two men with bags in front of the Medina Mosque on Pusta Road in Delhi’s Gandhi Nagar and found marijuana while checking their bags.
During the police investigation, they revealed that they, along with Asghar Ali, who lives in Pooja Colony in Loni, had bought cannabis from a man who was distributing cannabis at the Rajnandgaon railway station in Chhattisgarh. The accused allegedly bought a kilo of cannabis for Rs.6, 000 and police teams entered the field to nab Asghar Ali.
