New Delhi: Delhi Police Commissioner Mr. Rakesh Asthana IPS on Friday visited various duty points in the capital and shared his happiness with the personnel deployed for security during Holi. The Chief of Police also visited the integrated checking pickets in the traffic unit.
Mr. Aasthana said adequate security arrangements have been made to ensure peace and harmony and Sahab-e-Barat during Holi.
Patrolling intensified and additional forces were deployed in religiously sensitive areas. The Commissioner said Aman had held meetings with the committees to ensure the two ceremonies went smoothly.
Senior officers were ordered to ensure maximum visibility at ground level and to take action against clumsy revolvers or riots.
The Commissioner visited India Gate, Red Fort, CPCR premises, Janakpuri East Metro Station and Police Headquarters in Hyderpoor and distributed sweets to the staff.
