Hyderabad: The Helping Hand Foundation (HHF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Hyderabad City Police for a long-term health and fitness program for police personnel. As part of the program, HHF conducts screening, counseling and fitness programs.
“The City Police Force, unlike other police units, works under extreme pressure and stress, and health often affects them. Through this program, we hope to evaluate and design solutions that will help them improve their general health and fitness levels,” said the HHF Foundation President, Mujtaba Hassan Askari said.
At the police station level, fitness tests are conducted for the police personnel and then special programs are conducted by the fitness coaches at the police training centers. These include aerobics; floor and cardio exercises aimed at losing weight and toning the body, said Muztaba Hassan Askari, president of the HHF Foundation.
