Kishtwar: SSP Kishtwar Mr. Shafqat Hussain Batt JKPS, today held a cyber-awareness session at GHSS Kishtwar.
The program was intended to spread awareness about cybercrimes and make the participants understand the concept of protection and prevention of Internet-connected systems, including hardware, software, and data from cyber-attacks.
The officer deliberated upon the various types of cybercrimes such as Cyber Bulling, child pornography, Cyber Grooming, online sextortion, phishing etc.
A detailed PPT was also presented by Inspector Mr. Abid Hussain Bukhari and PSI Mr. Rahul Sharma of District Police Kishtwar.
SSP Kishtwar advised all the student community to be aware while surfing internet and do not fall prey to cyber criminals and also appealed them to aware others also into the context.
