Siliguri: On 7.4,2022 evening acting on local source information officers and men of Bhaktinagar Police Station apprehended three drug peddlers namely Dipankar Karmakar of Baghajatin Colony, Pradhan Naagar, Bapi Kar alias Babu of Caltex More, Malbazar and Joginder Chettri alias Yogesh of Champasari More, Pradhannaagar from Gandhi Maidan under Bhaktinagar Police Station SPC and on search seized the following contraband drugs from their exclusive possession: 50 bottles of Cough Syrup, 104 Spar Plus capsules, 190 Nitrosun 10 tablets.
All the three accused have been arrested and taken into custody. A specific case under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act has been registered at Bhakti Nagar Police Station. Our initiative “Say No To Drugs” continues.
