Kurnool: Karnataka liquor was seized heavily during Special Enforcement Bureau inspections. SEB CI Ms. Manjula and SI Mr. Praveen Kumar Nayak are conducting vehicle inspections on the national highway at Panchalingala check post in Kurnool zone after midnight on Monday.
While inspecting the Ashok Leyland vehicle coming from Raichur side, 3,456 Tetra packets were found in a specially arranged rack under the trolley in the back of the vehicle. Parashuram of Polakallu village in the vehicle and Raghavendra of Gudur have been arrested and are being interrogated. CI Ms. Manjula said the vehicle along with the liquor was seized and handed over to Kurnool SEB officials.
